Singleton Lodge

Major temple at Swansea Masonic Hall

Singleton Lodge serves as the Universities Scheme Lodge for both the city and county of Swansea. Established on 8 September 1971, the lodge currently boasts a membership of 52 individuals spanning an age range of 19 to 86. Our members, hailing from diverse backgrounds and professions, contribute to the Lodge’s vibrant and inclusive atmosphere. We take pride in fostering a close-knit, friendly, and welcoming Lodge, meeting on the third Monday of January, March, September and November.

Freemasonry under the United Grand Lodge of England is the UK’s largest, secular fraternal and charitable organisation. It has over 300,000 members working in nearly 8,000 lodges throughout England and Wales and 30,000 more members overseas.

Freemasons use four important guiding principles to help define their path through life: integrity, friendship, respect and service.

Singleton Lodge No. 8399, of the Masonic Province of South Wales, meets in the Swansea Masonic Hall, St Helen’s Road, Swansea.
