Wales Air Ambulance receives a grant of £3,000 from the South Wales Freemasons

The Wales Air Ambulance Charity is funded by the people of Wales.  Operating from bases across Wales, they operate some of the most advanced air ambulances in the UK, saving precious time and lives.

They rely entirely on charitable donations to keep the helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road across Wales.

Wales Air Ambulance offers advanced critical care and is often described as a ‘Flying ED’. The on-board consultants and critical care practitioners are highly skilled and carry some of the most pioneering medical equipment in the world.

Hannah Mitchell, Grants and Trusts Fundraiser said “Last year, we responded to over 3,400 emergencies across Wales, and the support of organisations like the South Wales Freemasons is crucial to our ability to continue to provide this life-saving service. On behalf of the Wales Air Ambulance, I want to thank the South Wales Freemasons and the MCF for their support and generosity. Your donation will make a real difference in the lives of the people we serve.”

The grant of £3,000 from South Wales Freemasons to Wales Air Ambulance will contribute to funding ongoing operations, including maintenance and fuel costs.
